Careers committee
The careers committee is a group of year 12 and year 10 students who support the careers department with events organisation at CLSG. It allows the students to discuss what would be helpful for them to hear about regarding their future careers, and then to plan and organise the event (which will often be for CLSG students, parents and students from the family of schools). They organise a number of successful events involving talks from external speakers and are instrumental in supporting careers department events such as half termly Life After City talks.

Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
