Rosie Lockyear
deputy head (partnerships and co-curricular); teacher of history and politics

Rosie has been teaching at City since 2006, before which she taught at a boys' grammar school in Essex. Having previously been head of sixth form and head of government and Politics, Rosie was appointed as deputy head (co-curricular and partnerships) in 2020, and also teaches history and politics. Rosie really enjoys supporting the students with their initiatives, whether that be setting up new clubs or organising conferences, and collaborating with our partner schools. Rosie has a particular interest in American Civil Rights and American politics. Rosie enjoys cycling to school and is kept busy by her two young children.
