Josie Latimer
interim assistant head of preparatory school

Josie joined the preparatory department in 2013 and has enjoyed a variety of roles since then, including leading the digital learning and being involved with both admissions and transitions at 7+ and 11+. As assistant head of prep, Josie focuses on ensuring the rhythms of day-to-day life continue smoothly as we look towards the launch of the new City Junior School. Josie is passionate about bringing creativity and cross-curricular learning into the classroom, and loves the opportunities art offers to enable children to experiment and connect.

Before training to teach, Josie read history at university. She has taught in a wide range of London schools, including Gospel Oak Primary School and Highgate Junior School. When she isn't teaching, Josie works in the community alongside her husband in his role as a vicar in the Church of England. She loves embarking on creative projects with her four school-aged daughters.
