The Rose Lecture with Amy Louise Erickson

We would be delighted if you could join us for the next Rose lecture on Wednesday 4 March with Amy Louise Erickson titled ‘Eighteenth-Century Businesswomen in the City’.

Amy Erickson is Professor of Feminist History at the University of Cambridge. She has written about early modern women’s inheritance and marital property arrangements, and about women’s employment. In 2019 she curated an outdoor exhibition on eighteenth-century women in business in the City of London.

Every ticket booked will make an important contribution to City’s bursary fund, helping us ensure the continuity of our proud tradition of educating bright girls from all across London and all walks of life.
