There is a keen focus on critical thinking and strategy in co-curricular life, perhaps most explicitly in the school’s collaborative problem solving groups, which complements the growth mind-set attitude adopted by the students. The ability to tackle a problem head-on and to embrace and move on from failure by effectively engaging different methods of approach not only speaks to the core of learning itself, but is invaluable to a vast range of modern careers, with many recruiters asking for examples of lateral thinking and problem solving.
