The joint final of the Young Musician Competition brought St Giles’ Cripplegate to life with an evening of remarkable performances from CLSG and CLS musicians. The standard was sky-high, with every performer showcasing both technical brilliance and true musical personality. We’re thrilled to announce our winners: Elora (year 8) took home the intermediate prize, singing a heartfelt and soaring rendition of Can You Feel the Love Tonight, whilst Sophie (year 12) dazzled with a flute performance of Busser’s Prelude and Scherzo to win the advanced prize. Rounding off the evening, Isabella (year 7) claimed the Baldacchino Piano Prize for her confident and expressive interpretation of Chopin’s Variations Brilliantes. Our sincere thanks to Rosie Whitfield, Head of Junior Guildhall, for her expert adjudication and thoughtful feedback.
