Young Musician Competition

Over 100 musicians from CLS and CLSG took part in this year's joint young musician competition, beginning with a series of heats in various categories. Friends and family gathered at the final, which took place at St Giles Church on Tuesday 5 November. Adjudicated by conductor Rafaello Morales, founder of Fidelio and music director of the Fidelio Orchestra, we are delighted to announce the successes of our talented musicians who have emerged as the winners of this year’s competition. Congratulations to Chloe (year 13) who won the advanced category for CLSG on clarinet, as well as to Yipeng who won the advanced category for CLS on the piano. In the intermediate category, Eleanor (year 7) enchanted us with her unaccompanied singing, taking a title for CLSG, whilst Shreya took the title for CLS. Congratulations to all of our performers.
