250 year 8 pupils from CLS and CLSG converged on the astro pitches at CLS last Monday morning to solve a range of different problems in a workshop arranged by the Problem Solving Company. Students had to collaborate and communicate in all sorts of different ways to solve the problems, and lots of fun was had by all!

Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
