Before the summer break, we visited Barcelona with school in order to improve our Spanish and to learn about the history as well as the culture of Spain. We visited many historic and culturally significant monuments including La Sagrada Familia, The Cathedral of Barcelona and Casa Milá. We learnt about the history of Catalonia and walked around the beautiful narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting a beautiful beach where we got to spend some time with our friends. On the last day, we went to La Boquería, a famous market situated in the city center. In the market, we got the opportunity to test our Spanish speaking skills while trying delicious and traditional Spanish food. Overall, the trip was amazing and we learnt so much!
