Our year 13 politics students attended the British Library's US Politics Today conference; a topical event given the recent presidential election and our studying of US politics. It was an incredibly interesting day, with special guests Cheri Bustos and Bob Dold, former members of the House of Representatives, offering their insights on party balance, Congress, and the Supreme Court. Throughout the day, we were able to ask questions, particularly focusing on the political climate in the US following Trump’s win.
