During the last week of the summer term, a group of year 10 French students visited Antibes. We stayed for five days with lovely host families where we practised our speaking skills. In the mornings, we had lessons in a school nearby, giving us a chance to revisit some of the things we had learnt earlier in the year. Our lunch was always a delicious traditional French meal, and in the afternoons we travelled around France, visiting many places such as Nice, Grasse and more! My favourite part was visiting the Perfume Museum in Grasse and watching how perfumes were made. After exploring France, we spent the evenings having dinner with our host families. On one of the evenings, we ate pizza on the beach with all of our friends. It was an exciting experience and we all thoroughly enjoyed it!
