Pastoral day
All pupils were off-timetable this Wednesday to unwind and recharge with a Pastoral Day. After registration, all pupils explored the idea of their "inner voice - champion or gremlin?" in a coaching activity led by Head of Coaching, Mr Murray. Following this, students reflected on their own learning through written learning reviews and 1:1 chats with their form tutors.

On Monday 1 March we welcomed Tim Otty QC to deliver the third of our exciting new lecture series. In a wide-ranging and thought-provoking talk that drew on his own specific experiences as a lawyer, Tim discussed the role the courts - both here and abroad - can and should play in safeguarding basic liberties and in protecting minorities, the vulnerable and the marginalised, particularly now, in the age of social media, when the scope for misinformation and unchecked abuse of power and influence is so great.
