Congratulations to Anna in year 11 for progressing to the final of the Women in Technology Awards in her category, One to Watch. Anna is the co-founder of Mission Encodeable, a free online platform with coding and design tutorials to inspire the next generation of computer scientists. This is an amazing achievement and we wish Anna all the best at the awards ceremony!
Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
