"Having been both a member and leader of City’s ‘Pride Society’ (a club dedicated to providing a safe space for discussing LGBTQ+ related issues) I can say with confidence that it has been a defining experience of my time at CLSG. I have been given the opportunity to meet and learn from incredible pioneers of LGBTQ+ visibility both within and outside the school, which has not only opened my mind to a wealth of experiences but also helped me to feel like an included member of a resilient and creative community. Appreciating diversity is one of the most valuable things a school can engage with and I hope that Pride Society continues to serve its goal of not only educating, but also embracing LGBTQ+ voices."
