We took part in the We Are Cityzens politics event, where we teamed up with students from a partner school to design our own political campaigns. We then heard from three fascinating guest speakers, including Assistant Press Secretary to the Secretary of State for Health and a member of a political think tank, who shared anecdotes and honest insights from their careers. To finish, we created a ‘Democratree,’ writing down the ways we plan to get more politically involved and have an impact in the world around us.
