Our year 12 design and technology students visited Chelsea College of Arts as part of the Worshipful Company of Founders’ Bronze Casting Competition. The trip included a live bronze casting demonstration, where students watched molten bronze being poured and helped reveal finished cast pieces from their moulds. They also toured the college’s specialist workshops, gaining valuable insight into both traditional craftsmanship and modern manufacturing techniques.
