Walk the (High)walk

CLSG pupils walk the Highwalk to raise money for Ukraine

As a school community, we are proud of the initiative we have shown in response to the devastating events in Ukraine. With millions of people displaced and fleeing from the escalating conflict, we believe that addressing the humanitarian crisis is the least we can do to show our support. Having set the school community the challenge of covering a total of 2860 miles (London to Kyiv and back) on foot or bike, by 1 April, we have also organised four bake sales, as well as a tennis match between Giulia and Mr Fitzgerald (Guilia won!). And on the last day of term the school joined Barbican residents in a walk around the Highwalk as a show of our solidarity. Overall, in three weeks, we raised £16,829 for the Ukrainian Crisis Appeal.
