A Tale of One City! Visiting Charles Dickens’ House
On Tuesday 9 November, Year 7 embarked on a full tour of Charles Dickens' house on Doughty Street, where they had the chance to perform parts of his novels and take part in a 'Creating Scrooge' workshop, writing stories with feather quills and ink.
Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
