Last week a group of year 8s went on a wonderful trip to Normandy. We visited various exciting places, such as the famous abbey at Mont Saint-Michel, a fromagerie where we tried several types of cheese, a museum about the D-Day landings, and even a caramel factory. Alongside visiting French markets and picturesque villages, this trip was a wonderful way to practise our French and learn the history of Normandy through the incredible Bayeux Tapestry.
