Trip to Granada

granada

Over half term, Spanish students from years 10 and 11 went on a trip to Granada learning more about Spanish culture and language.

To fully immerse ourselves into Spanish culture, we stayed with local families. This really improved our Spanish speaking skills. On Sunday, our families took the students to discover more of the city. We saw incredible sites, and our favourite part of this trip was walking along the breathtaking Sierra Nevada mountains.

During the week, we had outdoor classes where we roamed around the city, discovering its history through graffiti and statues. Some of the most interesting excursions of this trip were the guided visit of Alhambra, an important historical site of Granada, as well as watching a traditional Flamenco show that left all of us in awe.
