It was wonderful to see so many of you - at last! - at the rescheduled 125th CLOGA reunion event. The school hall was filled with alumnae from the 50s to very recent leavers, as memories old and new were shared over prosecco and canapes. The evening saw the unveiling of the specially commissioned CLOGA commemorative plaque, which will now take pride of place on the wall opposite the portraits of William and Ann Ward.
Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
