The festival was understandably rescheduled for summer 2021 when it may take a different form, perhaps as a Digifest. Accordingly, the organisers are asking contributors to 'think outside of the box' in terms of how pieces are presented. We would be well prepared in this respect, having already performed an online excerpt of The Maids in last year's online Moatfest. Watch this space for more details, including how we might reimagine The Maids for a contemporary, possibly online, audience.

Back to (virtual) school!
Yes, the biggest news of the week won't be news to you: online learning is back like it never left! As we open our laptops once more, it can be easy to have a sense of déjà vu. But for our year 7 pupils, this is their first 'virtual' term at City. We caught up with a few of them to see how they're finding it.

A future for every child
Mission are happy to announce that the online and school collections for the Street Child Christmas Campaign managed to raise £2073.12 for the charity's 'A Future for Every Child' campaign, supporting global children's education.

Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
