We are delighted to announce that Yunshu (year 8) has been awarded the Atherton Award for her initiative in starting a stationery business that is already selling to customers! Launched by Amber Atherton, the author of The Rise of Virtual Communities and serial entrepreneur, this award aims to encourage the next generation of women into entrepreneurship and careers in STEM.
As the winner of this award, Yunshu has the exciting opportunity to spend a day being mentored by Amber Atherton, alongside receiving a cheque to support her in her future ventures. As Amber Atherton said, 'CLSG girls have entrepreneurial spirit in bucket loads and I can't wait to watch, and maybe one day invest, in the incredible businesses you might build!' We look forward to seeing what wonderful entrepreneurial ideas will emerge this coming year.
