You may remember from a previous newsletter that we have launched an exciting week-long paid teaching internship with CLS & CJS for inspiring individuals who are from Black, Asian, mixed heritage or other minority ethnic backgrounds. We were delighted that our five interns joined us in the week after half term, splitting their time between us, CLS and CJS. The internship provided them valuable experience and insight into teaching, and they all told us that they had a fantastic week!
Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
