Swimming firsts

IMG_9208

On Friday 4 September, swimmers from years 8, 9 and 10 took on the Strait of Bonifacio, becoming the youngest team ever to complete the crossing between Corsica and Sardinia. They finished the challenge in an impressive 5 hours and 26 minutes and raised over £4,500 for Fuel their Passions, which enables bursary students to discover opportunities beyond the classroom. Huge congratulations to our dedicated swimmers and their coaches for this outstanding achievement. We can't wait to follow the exploits of our next team taking on this challenge in October half term!
