Congratulations to students who went to the ESAA Cross Country Cup final in Leeds. Lyra came 5th individually out of 168 females and the team won 13th place out of 27 schools! Thank you to all the parents who travelled with the team, and to coach, Cornelia for her efforts-so much more to come!
Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
