Huge congratulations to our athletics team, who were came second in the Indoor Simmonds Cup 2023. There were some fantastic performances from the 22 pupils from years 7 to 10, with victories for Lyra, Emily and Anastasia in the 800m, Elle in the 300m, Bella in the high jump and Isabella in the 200m. Overall, year 7 were placed 4th, year 9 were placed 3rd and year 10 were placed 2nd. What a fantastic achievement!
Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
