Both SPEC classes explored Oxford from a new perspective, starting with the thought-provoking Uncomfortable Oxford tour, uncovering the city’s complex and often challenging history of colonialism and prejudice. We then visited the Pitt Rivers Museum, admiring the global artefacts while learning how the museum is working to acknowledge and decolonise its past.
