Our year 12 and 13 Spanish A‑level students swapped City for the BFI, diving into a powerful study day on trauma, memory, and the legacy of dictatorships in Spain and Chile. The morning kicked off with The Silence of Others, an award‑winning documentary that definitely lived up to its reputation. In the afternoon, students unpacked the film’s themes in a lively discussion and even heard firsthand insights from a member of La Comuna, a human‑rights organisation.
