A group of our year 9 and 10 debaters visited SOAS for the London Foreign Policy Debating Tournament. They spent the day debating topics including reciprocal tariffs, the Belt and Road initiative, foreign aid conditionalities, and nuclear proliferation. Two of our teams, Emma and Mehr (year 10), as well as Chinmayi and Noa (year 9), reached the grand finals, with Emma also ranking as the best individual speaker of the whole tournament!
