Sketching in the Barbican Conservatory

On Monday, year 7 went to the Barbican Conservatory for an art trip. I think the experience made an indelible impression on us all. We explored different art techniques and created lots of work, including one continuous line drawing, three simple line drawings, one tonal drawing, three oil pastel drawings and a smell map. The  brutalist architecture contrasted with the plants, creating a really interesting backdrop.
