Last Wednesday our sixth form students were lucky enough to enjoy a bespoke guided tour of the Jubilee Copes exhibition at St Paul's Cathedral. The exhibition marked the Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee and explores the grand ceremonial occasions held at the cathedral to commemorate the Royal Jubilees of four British monarchs: George III, Victoria, George V and Elizabeth II. Many thanks our livery company supporters, the Worshipful Company of Needlemakers who organised the tour.
Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
