I attended the U19 GB trials for the beach sprints worlds team. Beach sprints is a fast-paced form of rowing involving a beach run, a 250m slalom, and a final sprint, set to debut at the 2028 Olympics. I placed 3rd, earning a spot as a travelling reserve. After a two-week camp near Bournemouth, I travelled to Genoa, Italy, for the competition. It was an incredible experience, learning from Olympic-level athletes and coaches. The GB team tied for 1st with the USA out of 40 nations.
