Our rowing squad competed at the National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships in the Copperbox Arena. We truly pulled together, collectively rowing over 38km as a team, and delivering a wave of impressive results across the board! Gwendoline (year 12) powered her way to a bronze medal in the individual event, while Nina (year 11) was just one small second off the podium, finishing a brilliant 4th. Our senior relay team also secured 6th place, and across years 7, 8 and 9 we saw multiple top‑10% finishes - not to mention four fantastic performances from our junior relay crews. Maddie and I also came 13th and 15th respectively out of over 100 year 9 girls. It was a super exhilarating competition, and we can’t wait to compete again next year!
