Survival of the friendliest! Year 7 desert island challenge
One of the happy byproducts of virtual learning is that students are no longer bound by form group bubbles, allowing them to socialise more easily across class and year-group boundaries. This is exactly what stood out to year 7 Sienna about last week’s Year 7 Challenge, which brought together students from each form into groups to imagine they were stranded on a desert island.
UniverCity: advice for year 12s
On 21 January, year 12s seeking advice about undergraduate applications to competitive universities were able to seek counsel from alumni from CLSG and several partner schools, as part of a dedicated webinar: 'What I did in year 12'.
Inside the covid classroom: biology on film
It’s great to see so many departments taking advantage of home environments to try out innovative ways to learn. In Biology, for instance, students have been creating short films to illustrate biological processes.
Year 8 changes everything: news from the drama department

Turning the Tide(way): City girls in science
Year 8 took a deep dive into the science of water this City Girls in Science Day. Off timetable for the morning, the year group partnered with Tideway to learn about their work constructing London's new 'super sewer', aimed at reinvigorating the city's otherwise historic network.
