Oh we do like to be beside the seaside!

margate

On the 28th April, year 10 art students took a trip to Margate where we toured around the Turner Contemporary and the rest of Margate. We visited an exhibition both curated and with pieces by Larry Achiampong. His works comment on many important topics such as racism, class, economic exclusion, displacement and more. After visiting the gallery, we had the opportunity to tour around Margate ourselves. For many of us it was a rare opportunity to spend some time in a seaside town and, of course, to be beside the sea!
