On Sunday 14th October, the U19, U16 and U14 netballers competed in the county round of the national schools. The Under 19s faced tough opposition and finished in 8th place overall following a number of very close games in a round-robin tournament. The Under 16s had a difficult draw and ended in 6th position after their group matches.
Meanwhile the Under 14s ended the morning in 2nd place in the group with four wins and a narrow defeat. This meant they qualified for the semi-finals, which was a first for a City team at Nationals. After storming to a 9-3 lead at half-time, the momentum was with Notting Hill in the 2nd half who came through to win by three goals and qualify for the regional finals in January.
