We went to see My Neighbour Totoro at the Gillian Lynn Theatre. The incredible puppeteers were accompanied by a live singer and band, who were part of the set as they sat in treehouses at the back of the stage. The giant Totoro and Cat Bus puppets were true to the original film, and the detail of the soot sprites was incredible to watch. Each soot sprite was attached to the actors' gloves by a long wire, and was moved in such a realistic way!
