One participant, Kate explained, "With the singing group Voces8, we have been learning how to lead vocal warmups so that they are fun and engaging. It has been interesting to learn how to present music to a much younger age group, but also an opportunity to let loose a bit and have fun! Overall, they’ve been a good experience and I’m looking forward to eventually presenting to the schools and seeing their reactions."

Dr Know: alumnae medic mentors
For the past few months, we have been running a Medic Mentor programme between year 11 and 12 students and CLSG alumnae who are currently studying medicine at university. Our students have been in contact over email, receiving lots of helpful advice and tips on applications, university life and more.

Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
