We have enjoyed a wonderful array of music during our lunchtime concerts as part of MOATfest this week. The stunning weather has made these performances feeling even more special! We have had concerts from the string ensemble, swing band, Note Fest (our joint orchestra with CLS) and an open concert with soloists and small ensembles. Truly, something for everyone!
Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
