We have had a great time taking part in various MUN conferences. On Saturday 5 October, a group of year 11 and 12s visited Alleyn’s School, discussing various topical issues, such as reproductive rights and Neocolonialism. After bumping into Mrs Brown’s identical twin(!), we had great fun debating students from different schools. Several of our delegates were highly commended, and Eira (Y11) was awarded Best Delegate in her committee! On Saturday 12 October, MUN was held at Wetherby School, where Matilda (year 11) received a Highly Commended award for her work. Overall, this was a great chance to practise our public speaking skills, as well as to learn more about the political views of different nations and parties.
