Much Ado About Nothing

On Wednesday 12 June, all of year 10 went to the Globe Theatre to see a performance of their GCSE text, Much Ado About Nothing. Much like the action and intrigue in the play itself, the production was full of its own drama! Beatrice's lines were delivered brilliantly by a different player and the performance was briefly halted during the second half for a fainter in the pit. Nothing, however, could stop the play from galloping to its joyful conclusion, carried by the boisterous and funny performance of Benedick. The evening was a superb opportunity to revisit this text and witness it on the stage.
