During lunchtime, a group of our A level politics students organised mock hustings, where they presented themselves as candidates of a party to which they had been assigned. After presenting their proposals for either the Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats, Green or Reform Party, students across the school cast their votes on Thursday. Overall, the student body elected the Liberal Democrats with 34.4% of the popular vote. Well done to all the candidates who stood in the election and a special congratulations to Giulia, leader of the LibDems.
