MOATfest music

MOATfest made waves again this summer, turning the school's Mountjoy Open Air Theatre into a showstopping stage. This year's musical festivities opened with the string and bassoon ensembles, performing everything from Pavane to Hoe-Down. Our swing band concert was equally captivating and full of energy. It's no surprise that passersby on the highwalk stop to have a listen, with a setlist spanning from timeless classics like 'Sway' to modern musical hits from La La Land and Chicago. Tuesday’s joint orchestra concert also brought together musical forces for a rousing rendition of 'Toreador’s Song' from Carmen and a spin through the James Bond theme.
