Staff and students gathered by the MOAT for a performance of Racine’s Andromaque. Having made its debut at the Festival de Théâtre Francophone in March, and winning the prize for best play, it was wonderful to see this performed at MOATfest for all to enjoy. This extremely visual, dance-like piece, full of symbolic props and phenomenal acting from Georgie and Ningfei in year 13 and Saffiya in year 12 meant that even those not fluent in French - who were provided with an English translation - could enjoy.
