Year 10 Latin students walked over to the London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE. Remarkably, below the financial building lies the preserved artefacts and remains of the ancient Roman Temple of Mithras. Through an imaginative display of lighting and sound, including chanting in Latin, we were transported back to London AD 240, experiencing the conditions of life in the temple and the rites of the mysterious cult of Mirthas.
