Meeting the Lord Mayor

CLSG students and Canadian foreign exchange students meeting the Lord Mayor

Our exchange students from Havergal College, Toronto came to London to stay with their year 9 hosts (Audrey, Emma, Isi and Nina). They were shown around City, attending lessons with our students and exploring London. They also had the opportunity to meet Michael Mainelli, the 695th Lord Mayor of the City of London, and explore the historic Mansion House. The experience offered insight into how the City works and the rich history behind it. The Lord Mayor shared anecdotes about the role's responsibilities and the city's financial significance. We learned about the Mansion House's amazing architecture and its role as an official residence for the Lord Mayor. It was truly an experience to remember!
