Alexandra in year 9 insists "it was an enjoyable experience, despite having to do it remotely. The challenge got increasingly difficult as the questions went on and near the end the problem solving questions were very interesting and a good way to stretch our minds. It was also a nice way to mix up our normal routine and do something outside of the curriculum. We are all waiting for the results to come out"

Carol Ann Duffy and ‘The Music of Being Human’
It was great to see an audience of over 360 parents, students, staff, and alumnae from around the world tune in to listen to Carol Ann Duffy speak about ‘The Music of Being Human’ on 1 February, for the first annual Andrew Douglas memorial lecture.
Holocaust memorial workshop
To mark Holocaust Memorial Day this week, a number of students in years 10 and 11 had the opportunity to attend a talk by Sarah Wetton of the National Holocaust Centre and Museum.
Linking up with the law
On 27 January, Linklaters led a webinar for CLSG and partner school pupils to illuminate what a career with a leading law firm is like, as well as introduce students to graduate recruitment schemes and the transferable skills most valued by recruiters.
