On Monday 28 February, students spent the afternoon with Makyth Ventures, Winchester College’s new entrepreneurship and innovation hub, in a business building simulation. Students came together from a range of year groups in ten teams of five to compete as new architecture companies in a world of raw spaghetti and marshmallow. Teams pitched for the rights to exclusive distribution of their giant marshmallow structures, wrote a proposal for a bank loan, invested in research and development and even insured themselves against collapse!
