Charles Hay, the 17th Earl of Kinnoull, visited City to address students interested in law and politics. He spoke about his role in the House of Lords - as leader of the crossbenchers - and more generally about the role that non-partisan members play in the legislature. He also shared his insights, as a hereditary peer, on the current government's plans to reform the Lords.
